BotLab Academy runs robotics and coding programmes for students aged 11–18 in North London. We offer after-school clubs, one-day weekend workshops, week-long holiday camps and school enrichment days — all focused on real, hands-on building and programming.

Our sessions are designed for students aged 11–18. After-school clubs are aimed at 11–14, while weekend workshops and holiday camps are open to the full 11–18 range. School enrichment days are tailored to the year group you book.

None at all. Every session starts from scratch. We use visual block-based coding to begin with, so students with no experience can contribute from the first five minutes. More experienced students move ahead at their own pace.

We keep groups small — a maximum of 8 students in after-school clubs, and 10 in workshops and camps. The instructor-to-student ratio is always at least 1:6.

Nothing except themselves and a packed lunch if it is a full-day session. We provide kits, laptops, all components and any printed materials.

We keep a build log for every student so they can catch up quickly. If a session is missed, we send home a brief summary and the student can rejoin at the next session without falling behind.

Our workshops and clubs are based in North London. School enrichment days are delivered at your school — we travel to you. Exact venue details are shared at the time of booking.

A workshop is a standalone event — one day or one week, no weekly commitment. The after-school club runs for eight weeks in term time and goes deeper. Workshops are a great way to try it before committing to a club.

Yes — if you need more than 3 places at once, contact us and we can discuss a group booking or a dedicated session.

For school enrichment days we come to you — we bring all the equipment, set up in your space, and pack everything away afterwards. You just need a classroom or hall with tables.

Pricing depends on the number of students and the format you choose. Contact us for a tailored quote — we work with state schools, academies and independent schools and can usually find something that fits your budget.

Sessions cover Computing (programming, hardware, debugging), Design and Technology (build, test, iterate) and elements of Physics (forces, sensors, circuits). We can provide a curriculum alignment document on request.

Our instructors are experienced at working with mixed-ability groups. Students are never left behind — we pair them with a buddy if needed and the hands-on format means everyone progresses at their own pace. If you have specific concerns, drop us a message before booking.

Yes — if you're booking more than one child from the same family, contact us directly before booking online and we'll apply a 10% sibling discount to the second booking.
